I know this was announced last week but as someone who finds this game to be one of the most artistic and captivating games to ever be made, I highly recommend anyone not aware to check it out. It was originally released in 1991 and has seen many rereleases since, and it never gets old.
Now can I have my non FPS Syndicate reboot?
As a digital designer I’m actually insulted that Adobe is investing time, staff and money in creating a product to make it easier for print designers (I’m guessing this is the goal seen as it’s InDesign inspired) to create web pages.
If you want to help web designers then invest time and money in Fireworks or a true Fireworks sucessor (NOT created with Adobe Air).
I would have said “Make Photoshop not suck for UI work” but it would require changes at a fundamental level so there is no point.
Put the internet to work for you by creating tasks that fit this simple structure “If This Then That”

Luke Beard wrote an insightful post on the front end development of Zerply. One of the little things that stuck out to me was the method of using native iPad and iPhone controls disguised as normal HTML elements. He uses a native <select> element at zero opacity to trigger the native controls on touch. It’s incredibly straightforward when you think about it, but then again the best ideas always are!
